COVIDSAFE Hunter Chabad

Your health, safety and security is important to us at Chabad of the Hunter, and we are committed to our COVIDsafe plan to protect our community and the wider public in response to the development of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Adjustments will be made, as required by the NSW Government, to the way we deliver our services.

  • We respectfully ask that you do not attend our classes or events if you are feeling unwell, or showing symptoms of respiratory infection (cough, sore throat, shortness of breath) or have been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19: (coronavirus) in the last 14 days.

  • At events, a record of the name, contact number, and entry time for all staff and visitors is recorded and kept (in an encryted form) for a period of 28 days, and then destroyed. Contact details are collected for each person using a QR Code login method. IF you are unable to use a QR code login, we can help you with alternative login methods.

  • Ensuring natural ventilation with plenty of access to fresh air and outdoor space is a priority in group settings.

  • An increase in cleaning at events, particularly of surfaces, toilets, commonly used areas, door handles and equipment.

  • Encourage 1.5m social distancing iin large gathering

  • Provisions, such as hand sanitiser, disinfectant wipes and masks will be available at events, if needed.
