Children are the future of the Jewish people and the guarantors of Jewish continuity. We want every child from the youngest age to feel welcome, excited and at home in the Newcastle Synagogue.

This Rosh Hashana we are offering a free, inclusive and engaging program for both Little Tots (Baby-3 y.o) and Newy Jewy Kids (4 - 11 y.o) during the Children’s Program. Activities will include fast paced games, food crafts and outside play for the bigger kids, and a music and movement mat session for the little ones.

The program will be run in the Freeman Hall of the Synagogue, which can be accessed via the pathway to the left of the Synagogue building. There is a screen door to enter approximately half way down the path.

We’re so excited for your kids to have a blast, while you enjoy a meaningful (child-free) Rosh Hashana experience upstairs in the Synagogue. .
